The girls games that were scheduled for Thursday will now take place on Friday due to the Spartan Football game in Cedar Falls.
NO SHAVE NOVEMBER
You may have noticed that some of the men in our school have more facial hair than normal. They are participating in No Shave November. We are having a contest to see who has the best beard. What does BEST BEARD mean? To some it could mean the beard that is the darkest in color. It could be the beard that is the thickest. It could mean the beard that you can’t see very well. YOU decide what BEST is. You can vote by putting money in the jars that are in the commons. The jar with the most money in it will win! A special ceremony for the competition will take place during our next assembly. Proceeds for this fundraiser will go to the U of I Dance Marathon, which raises money for children with cancer. Let’s thank the men who are participating: Senor Chapa, Mr. Cusick, Mr. Kerkove, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Sheeley, Mr. Williams & Mr. Woods.
The theme for the November drawing board challenge will be:
No Shave November.
Please submit drawings to Ms Ruden by Friday.
